Vid tillf\u00e4llet var det ett kraftigt \u00e5skv\u00e4der med stormbyar och d\u00e5lig sikt, vilket tros ha bidragit till att b\u00e5ten k\u00f6rde in i hamnens v\u00e5gbrytare. <\/p>\n<p>Det uppstod panik bland passagerarna men lokalpolisen och en b\u00e5t fr\u00e5n Guardia Civil var snabbt p\u00e5 plats och tog hand om skadade, v\u00e5ta och r\u00e4dda passagerare. De tog ocks\u00e5 alkotest p\u00e5 b\u00e5tens skeppare, vilket gav negativt resultat. Tre ambulanser kom till platsen och tog hand om de skadade, sju kvinnor 27 \u2013 52 \u00e5r gamla och en 52-\u00e5rig man. En gravid kvinna f\u00f6rdes till sjukhuset i Elche f\u00f6r observation, de \u00f6vriga hade inga allvarligare skador s\u00e5 de f\u00f6rdes till olika v\u00e5rdcentraler.
