Det \u00e4r IAG, f\u00f6retaget som \u00e4ger b\u00e5de British Airways, Iberia och Vueling som k\u00f6per det spanska flygbolaget Air Europa f\u00f6r 1 miljard euro.<\/p>\n<p>International Consolidated Airlines (IAG) k\u00f6per bolaget fr\u00e5n dess nuvarande \u00e4gare IB OPCO Holding, enligt uppgift f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas transaktionen att slutf\u00f6ras under andra halv\u00e5ret 2020. <\/p>\n<p>Air Europa har l\u00e4nge varit en av Iberias st\u00f6rsta konkurrenter och opererar b\u00e5de inrikes och internationellt  i Europa, Sydamerika, USA, Karibien och Nordafrika.<\/p>\n<p>Under 2018 hade Air Europa int\u00e4kter p\u00e5 2,1 miljarder euro och n\u00e5dde ett driftsresultat p\u00e5 100 miljoner euro. De fraktade d\u00e5 11,8 miljoner passagerare till 69 destinationer med sina 66 flygplan, och deras huvudbas ligger i Madrid. K\u00f6pet inneb\u00e4r att IAG \u00f6kar sin marknadsandel p\u00e5 den latinamerikanska marknaden fr\u00e5n 19 till 26 procent. IAG har tidigare ocks\u00e5 \u00e4gt aktier i Norwegian men dessa har de gjort sig av med.
