Elva ton maneter har samlats in fr\u00e5n str\u00e4nder p\u00e5 Costa del Sol efter den st\u00f6rsta invasionen av maneter sedan 2012. Det rapporterar Diario SUR p\u00e5 tisdagen. Under veckoslutet t\u00e4cktes str\u00e4nder mellan Mijas till Torrox\/Nerja av Pelagia Noctiluca eller lysmaneter som det heter p\u00e5 svenska.<\/p>\n

\u00c4ven p\u00e5 Costa Tropical mellan Almu\u00f1\u00e9car och Motril\/Calahonda var str\u00e4nderna fyllda. Det \u00e4r inte onormalt att stora m\u00e4ngder maneter spolas upp p\u00e5 land under v\u00e5ren och sommaren. Sker det p\u00e5 sommaren och under ett veckoslut blir h\u00e4ndelsen mer uppm\u00e4rksammad eftersom str\u00e4nderna \u00e4r fyllda med badg\u00e4ster.<\/p>\n

Under de senaste dagarna har b\u00e5tarna \u201dquitanatas\u201d som bevakar och rensar kustens str\u00e4nder arbetat f\u00f6r h\u00f6gtryck. Mellan Nerja och V\u00e9lez-M\u00e1laga har \u00e5tta ton lysmaneter tagits upp. Mellan Torremolinos och Mijas r\u00f6r det sig om tre ton, merparten utmed Benalm\u00e1dena Costa.<\/p>\n

Enligt Aula del Mar \u00e4r det den st\u00f6rsta invasionen av maneter sedan 2012. \u00c4ven 2015 f\u00f6rekom det stora m\u00e4ngder.<\/p>\n

Biologen Jes\u00fas Bellido vid Aula del Mar s\u00e4ger att f\u00f6rekomsten av maneter \u00e4r fortsatt h\u00f6g utmed stora delar av M\u00e1lagakusten. Han manar till f\u00f6rsktighet bland badg\u00e4ster.<\/p>\n

Lysmanetens stick \u00e4r inte livshotande men mycket irriterande.<\/p>\n
