I morse avled han p\u00e5 sjukhuset Carlos III och blir d\u00e4rmed den f\u00f6rste i Europa som avlider p\u00e5 grund av ebolaviruset.<\/p>\n<p>Pajares smittades med ebola n\u00e4r han arbetade som pr\u00e4st p\u00e5 det katolska sjukhuset Hospital San Jos\u00e9 i Liberias huvudstad Monrovia. Han transporterades i en specialdesignad Airbus 310 fr\u00e5n Monrovia till Madrid. Han v\u00e5rdades i en speciell kamera\u00f6vervakad isoleringsavdelning fram till sin d\u00f6d.<\/p>\n<p>Tidningen ABC skriver att Pajares behandlades med det opr\u00f6vade l\u00e4kemedlet Zmapp under m\u00e5ndagen. De senaste dagarna har hans tillst\u00e5nd varit stabilt.<\/p>\n<p>Med p\u00e5 flyget fr\u00e5n Monrovia var \u00e4ven nunnan Juliana Bonoha. Hon har blivit testad tv\u00e5 g\u00e5nger. Samtliga test har varit negativa. Ytterligare ett test ska g\u00f6ras p\u00e5 tisdagen.<\/p>\n<p>Enligt WHO ska antalet fall av ebola vara uppe i 1848.
