Marockanen Raf\u00e1 Zouhier som d\u00f6mdes till tio \u00e5rs f\u00e4ngelse f\u00f6r att ha levererat spr\u00e4ng\u00e4mnen till huvudm\u00e4nnen bakom terroristattentatet i Madrid kommer att bli frisl\u00e4ppt den 16 mars. Mannen kommer d\u00e4refter att utvisas fr\u00e5n Spanien.<\/p>\n

Enligt ett domstolsbeslut som kommer under onsdagen kommer Zouhier att sl\u00e4ppas fri. Han d\u00f6mdes till tio \u00e5rs f\u00e4ngelse 2007 efter att ha blivit gripen den 19 mars 2004. Raf\u00e1 Zouhier arbetade tidigare vid Guardia Civil och var den som levererade spr\u00e4ng\u00e4mnen till g\u00e4rningsm\u00e4nnen bakom terrorattentatet i Madrid den 11 mars 2004. Han hade \u00e4ven kopplingar till en islamistcell.<\/p>\n

Raf\u00e1 Zouhier, som \u00e4r marockansk medborgare, har suttit p\u00e5 en f\u00e5ngv\u00e5rdsanstalt utanf\u00f6r C\u00e1diz. Enligt artikel 57 i Utl\u00e4nningslagen, Ley de Extranjer\u00eda, kommer han att utvisas ur Spanien efter att ha tj\u00e4nat sitt straff.<\/p>\n

Zouhier var mellanhand mellan Jos\u00e9 Emilio Su\u00e1rez Trashorras och Jamal Ahmidan som var ledare i den grupp som organiserade attentatet p\u00e5 Atocha-stationen i s\u00f6dra Madrid.<\/p>\n

De marockanska medborgarna Jamal Zougam och Otman El Gnaoui var huvudm\u00e4n i attentatet och d\u00f6mdes f\u00f6r att ha d\u00f6dat 191 m\u00e4nniskor, 1.856 mordf\u00f6rs\u00f6k och fyra fall av terrorbrott.
