Under 2012 kom det 300.000 golfturister till provinsen och myndigheterna f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntar en tillv\u00e4xt p\u00e5 mellan 4,5 och fem procent f\u00f6r 2013. Golfturisten har en h\u00f6g k\u00f6pkraft och f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas ge 171 euro. Golfturisterna kommer fr\u00e4mst fr\u00e5n Storbritannien, Tyskland, Skandinavien, Irland och Centraleuropa.<\/p>\n

80 procent av golfturisterna som bes\u00f6ker provinsen M\u00e1laga \u00e4r utl\u00e4nningar, de \u00f6vriga 20 procenten \u00e4r spanjorer som kommer fr\u00e5n andra delar av landet. De flesta stannar tio dagar f\u00f6r att spela golf.<\/p>\n

Costa del Sol eller Costa del Golf har tillsammans med angr\u00e4nsande omr\u00e5den till provinsen C\u00e1diz 73 golfklubbar som har totalt 90 golfbanor.
