Det \u00e4r 69 procent av landets bilf\u00f6rare som d\u00e4rmed har 15 \u201dpuntos\u201d sammantaget.<\/p>\n<p>En bilf\u00f6rare som har f\u00f6rlorat samtliga \u201dpuntos\u201d f\u00e5r inte k\u00f6ra bil under 6 m\u00e5nader. D\u00e4refter v\u00e4ntar en 24-timmarskurs i trafiks\u00e4kerhet innan ett nytt tillst\u00e5nd utf\u00e4rdas.<\/p>\n<p>Systemet med straffpo\u00e4ng som dras av vid trafikf\u00f6rseelse inf\u00f6rdes den 1 juli 2006 d\u00e5 alla f\u00f6rare med mer \u00e4n tre \u00e5rs k\u00f6rerfarenhet hade 12 po\u00e4ng. Ytterligare tv\u00e5 lades till den 1 juli 2009 om bilf\u00f6raren inte hade beg\u00e5tt n\u00e5got brott.<\/p>\n<p>Totalt har 142.015 bilf\u00f6rare f\u00f6rlorat k\u00f6rkortet sedan systemet inf\u00f6rdes. Fr\u00e4msta sk\u00e4len f\u00f6r po\u00e4ngavdrag \u00e4r att inte respektera hastighetsbegr\u00e4nsningen, f\u00f6ljt av att inte ha p\u00e5 bilb\u00e4lte, tala i mobiltelefon och efter ha druckit alkohol.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c4ven i Sverige f\u00f6rs det diskussioner om att inf\u00f6ra ett liknande system som i framtiden kan bli \u00f6vergripande inom hela EU.
