Stora delar av Spanien ligger l\u00e4ngre v\u00e4sterut \u00e4n London. Trots det har Spanien centraleuropeisk tid plus att vi p\u00e5 s\u00f6ndag g\u00e5r \u00f6ver till sommartid. Det blir ljusare kv\u00e4llar n\u00e4r vi egentligen borde har ljusare p\u00e5 morgonen.<\/p>\n

Med tanke p\u00e5 Spaniens geografiska l\u00e4ge borde landet ha tidszonen som markerar Greenwich Meridian. Det har inte Spanien och det beror p\u00e5 ett beslut som togs f\u00f6r 72 \u00e5r sedan.<\/p>\n

Det var ett beslut som tr\u00e4dde i kraft klockan 23 den 16 mars 1940 d\u00e5 klockan flyttades fram till midnatt efter att Spaniens tidigare statschef general Franco godk\u00e4nde beslutet den 7 mars samma \u00e5r. Syftet till beslutet ska ha varit att Spanien skulle matcha Hitlers Tyskland och ha samma tid.<\/p>\n

Normaltiden i Spanien motsvarar inte tidszonen. Och det beror p\u00e5 beslutet som togs 1940. Ett lands tidzon s\u00e4tts i regel efter det geografiska l\u00e4get och vid klockan 12, det vill s\u00e4ga n\u00e4r solen har n\u00e5tt den h\u00f6gsta punkten.<\/p>\n
