Det \u00e4r 26:e \u00e5ret som man anordnar de popul\u00e4ra festligheterna till matr\u00e4ttens \u00e4ra. Fiestan har f\u00e5tt s\u00e5dan status att den sedan 1999 \u00e4r klassad som av nationellt intresse f\u00f6r turismen. Det bj\u00f6ds som vanligt p\u00e5 provsmakning av matr\u00e4tten. F\u00f6r tillagningen gick det bland annat \u00e5t 2 000 kilo mj\u00f6l, 300 liter olivolja, 150 kilo vitl\u00f6k och 120 kilo torkad torsk.
