Det st\u00e5r nu n\u00e4rmare tusen personer registrerade med ans\u00f6kningar till n\u00e5gon av de fyra hamnarna som finns i kommunen. Det skulle kr\u00e4vas en utbyggnad med 60 % fr\u00e5n de nuvarande 1 729 platserna f\u00f6r att t\u00e4cka behovet. Det finns ocks\u00e5 planer p\u00e5 en utbyggnad av hamnen i centrala Marbella som skulle ge ytterligare 436 platser. Milj\u00f6konsekvensanalys har redan gjorts och godk\u00e4nts. Nu reses dock f\u00f6rslag om att g\u00f6ra utbyggnaden \u00e4n st\u00f6rre n\u00e4r man \u00e4nda ska genomf\u00f6ra arbete.
