Det var personalen p\u00e5 barnsjukhuset som larmade polisen i enlighet med de rutiner man har vid dylika misstankar. Barnet kom in f\u00f6r magsjuka och vid unders\u00f6kningen uppt\u00e4cktes bl\u00e5m\u00e4rken och andra misst\u00e4nkta skador. Polisen grep b\u00e5de fadern och modern, men de sl\u00e4pptes p\u00e5 beslut av en domare i dag som inte fann tillr\u00e4ckliga sk\u00e4l f\u00f6r misstanke om brott. Fadern \u00e4r k\u00e4nd av polisen sedan tidigare f\u00e5r viss brottslighet och uppges dessutom vara drogmissbrukare. Barnet ligger kvar p\u00e5 sjukhuset efter att ha inkommit uttorkad p\u00e5 grund av magproblemen.
