En vacker eftermiddag direkt efter p\u00e5sk bes\u00f6kte vi Don Santiago p\u00e5 strandpromenaden i Fuengirola. Vi var hungriga och tyckte det l\u00e4t bra med italienskt. Text och foto: Erixon Consulting <\/p>\n

Vi valde en minestronesoppa och en cherrytomatsallad till f\u00f6rr\u00e4tt. Soppan utf\u00f6ll till full bel\u00e5tenhet. Det var en mustig buljong och gott om gr\u00f6nsaker. Tomaterna serverades med ett litet berg av ruccola och med lite olja. Lite salt ovanp\u00e5 och det blev helt perfekt, eftersom jag f\u00f6redrar att salta sj\u00e4lv.<\/p>\n

Till huvudr\u00e4tt valde jag en risotto med oxfil\u00e9 och svamp, min man valde kycklingfil\u00e9 med prosciutto och mozzarella. Kycklingen serverades med rej\u00e4la tjocka skivor av osten och stora skivor av skinkan, dessutom var det helt perfekta pommes frites till. Det \u00e4r man inte van vid n\u00e4r man bes\u00f6ker restauranger i Spanien. Risotton var j\u00e4ttegod med m\u00f6r fil\u00e9 och gott om svamp.<\/p>\n

I k\u00f6ket finns en italienare och det m\u00e4rks p\u00e5 kvaliteten p\u00e5 all mat. Personalen \u00e4r trevlig och m\u00e5ngspr\u00e5kig. Detta m\u00e4rks ocks\u00e5 bland g\u00e4sterna, n\u00e4r vi var d\u00e4r h\u00f6rde vi i alla fall tre olika spr\u00e5k, f\u00f6rutom v\u00e5r svenska. Ett riktigt gott betyg till denna restaurang \u00e4r att andra kr\u00f6gare kommer dit f\u00f6r lunch eller middag. Vi k\u00e4nde igen en som var d\u00e4r samtidigt som vi var d\u00e4r. Ytterligare ett gott betyg f\u00e5r vi ge f\u00f6r det fantastiskt goda kaffet efter maten, dessutom snyggt presenterat.<\/p>\n

Don Santiago ligger som sagt p\u00e5 strandpromenaden i Fuengirola mot Carvajal. De har \u00f6ppet alla dagar 12 till 02, men k\u00f6ket st\u00e4nger kl 23.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
