Med sin kaxiga slogan: \u201dVarf\u00f6r inte?\u201d har den gamla turistorten Benidorm blivit utsedd som EU:s europeiska gr\u00f6na pionj\u00e4r inom smart turism.<\/strong><\/p>\n

EU-kommissionen vill uppm\u00e4rksamma st\u00e4der som arbetar p\u00e5 att g\u00f6ra turismutvecklingen mer h\u00e5llbar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tillg\u00e4nglig, h\u00e5llbar, digital, kreativ och kulturell. S\u00e5 ska en europeisk huvudstad f\u00f6r smart turism vara. Benidorm p\u00e5 Costa Blanca passar in i den profilen enligt EU-kommissionens jury.<\/p>\n

EU-kommissionen ber\u00f6mmer\u00a0Benidorms prestationer och insatser inom smart och h\u00e5llbar turism och gr\u00f6na omst\u00e4llning som turistdestination.<\/p>\n

61 procent av Benidorms yta \u00e4r numera skyddade gr\u00f6nomr\u00e5den. Sierra Gelada Natural Park och Moralet beskrivs som stadens gr\u00f6na lungor.<\/p>\n

173 hektar av Posidonia Oceanica i bukten utanf\u00f6r Benidorm bidrar till att ge n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigt syre och klart vatten.<\/p>\n

Benidorm satsar \u00e4ven p\u00e5 avancerade dr\u00e4neringssystem som ska minska risken f\u00f6r stigande havsniv\u00e5er och \u00f6versv\u00e4mningar. Kommunen har numera ett utbyggt system f\u00f6r att hantera dagvatten f\u00f6r bevattning. Hela 95 procent av vattnet \u00e5teranv\u00e4nds.<\/p>\n

Benidorm presenterar en rad innovative l\u00f6sningar f\u00f6r h\u00e5llbar utveckling vid den stora turistm\u00e4ssan ITB Berlin 4 till mars i Tyskland.<\/p>\n
