Planerna p\u00e5 ett sjukhus som ska t\u00e4cka v\u00e5rdbehovet i Fuengirola och Mijas har funnits sedan 2000-talets b\u00f6rjan. Det blir inget sjukhus.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I st\u00e4llet blir det en ny v\u00e5rdcentral med en specialistl\u00e4karmottagning som byggs p\u00e5 en tomt mellan skolan IES La Vega och Miramar i Las Lagunas d\u00e4r det var planerat f\u00f6r en brandstation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mijas befolkning har \u00f6kat med 35 procent sedan 2005 fr\u00e5n 61.000 till 93.000 inv\u00e5nare. 2003 presenterades planerna av d\u00e5varande regionpresidenten i Andalusien, Manuel Chaves, att Fuengirola och Mijas skulle f\u00e5 ett st\u00f6rre sjukhus.<\/p>\n

I st\u00e4llet kommer en ny v\u00e5rdcentral med specialistl\u00e4kare att byggas k\u00e4nt som CARP (Centro de Alta Resoluci\u00f3n de Procesos). Den nya v\u00e5rdcentralen kommer att ta hand om v\u00e5rdbehovet som finns i n\u00e4romr\u00e5det.<\/p>\n

Partido Populars talesperson i Mijas kommun, Mario Bravo, s\u00e4ger att Mijas har ett sjukhus som ligger 24 kilometer bort. Det \u00e4r ett sjukhus som t\u00e4cker v\u00e5rddistriktet Costa del Sol. Det \u00e4r inte ett sjukhus bara f\u00f6r Marbella, betonar Bravo.<\/p>\n

Mijas borgm\u00e4stare, Ana Mata, till\u00e4gger att utbyggnaden av Costa del Sol-sjukhuset kommer att kompensera bristerna i regionen.<\/p>\n
