Leonardo Llorente Esteban kom fr\u00e5n Recinto de la Casa de Campo i Madrid p\u00e5 uppdrag av landets d\u00e5varande arbetsmarknadsminister f\u00f6r att lansera Hotel Escuela San Nicol\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"es\">Mi m\u00e1s sentido p\u00e9same a Marina, sus hijos y a la familia y amigos de Leo Llorente.<\/p>\n<p>Fue una figura clave en la historia de Marbella. Hans arbete med framf\u00f6r allt Hotel Escuela San Nicol\u00e1s bidrog till utbildningen av tusentals yrkesverksamma inom turistsektorn vilket fr\u00e4mjade utvecklingen av Costa del Sol\u201d, skriver Marbellas borgm\u00e4stare \u00c1ngeles Mu\u00f1oz p\u00e5 X.<\/p>\n<p>Det var en verksamhet som v\u00e4xte f\u00f6r varje \u00e5r.<\/p>\n<p>Leonardo Llorente Esteban b\u00f6rjade marknadsf\u00f6ra Marbella i stora kampanjer riktade till utlandet fr\u00e5n 1968 som den flygande ambassad\u00f6ren fr\u00e5n Marbella. Leonardo fl\u00f6g mellan olika europeiska st\u00e4der tillsammans med flamencoartisten Ana Mar\u00eda, skriver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diariosur.es\/marbella\/fallece-leonardo-llorente-impulsores-turismo-lujo-puerto-20250207221114-nt.html\">Diario Sur.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>F\u00f6rutom sitt arbete f\u00f6r Marbella st\u00e4llde Leonardo alltid upp f\u00f6r kollegor inom turistsektorn med att hj\u00e4lpa till med reklam f\u00f6r andra hotell p\u00e5 kusten.<\/p>\n<p>Escuela San Nicol\u00e1s beskrivdes som turismens vagga p\u00e5 kusten d\u00e4r m\u00e5nga inom turistn\u00e4ringen fick utbildning. Skolan kom senare att byta namn till Hotel Escuela Bellamar.<\/p>\n<p>Leonardo Llorente Esteban var ocks\u00e5 en av de drivande sj\u00e4larna bakom fritidshamnen Puerto Ban\u00fas utveckling. Han satt i en ledande position i 27 \u00e5r.<\/p>\n<p>Han var gift med Marina Torres som blev en av de f\u00f6rsta kvinnorna i kommunfullm\u00e4ktige.<\/p>\n<p>Leonardo Llorente Esteban blev utn\u00e4mnd som hedersmedborgare (Ciudadano Honorario) i Marbella 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Idag s\u00f6rjs Leonardo Llorente Esteban bortg\u00e5ng av m\u00e5nga i Marbella stad och folk inom turistn\u00e4ringen.
