N\u00e4r du spelar k\u00e4nner du att nervcellerna b\u00f6rjar fungera. Patienter med Parkinsons, Alzheimers, MS (Multipel skleros) och stroke ing\u00e5r i ett pilotprojekt i M\u00e1laga med schack f\u00f6r kognitiva f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttringar och d\u00e4rmed en b\u00e4ttre livskvalitet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vid Parkinsonf\u00f6reningen i M\u00e1laga (Asociaci\u00f3n del P\u00e1rkinson) tr\u00e4ffas ett 50-tal personer varje dag. Aktiviteterna \u00e4r gjorda f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra patienternas autonomi och livskvalitet och bromsa utvecklingen av neurodegenerativa sjukdomar som l\u00e5ngsamt f\u00f6rtvinar och bryter ner (degenererar) nervcellerna i nervsystemet.<\/p>\n

I m\u00e5ndagens nummer av Diario Sur<\/a> ber\u00e4ttas det om pilotprojektet i M\u00e1laga med schack som f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrar koncentration, uppm\u00e4rksamhet och minne och som har tydliga kognitiva f\u00f6rdelar med att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra motoriken.<\/p>\n

– N\u00e4r du spelar k\u00e4nner du att nervcellerna b\u00f6rjar fungera, s\u00e4ger en Parkinsonpatient till tidningen.<\/p>\n

Allt b\u00f6rjade med att schackspelaren Alberto blev inbjuden till f\u00f6reningen att h\u00e5lla en f\u00f6rel\u00e4sning om schack. Ett samarbete inleddes med Albertos f\u00f6retag Chesscul och Parkinsonf\u00f6reningen.<\/p>\n

Sedan har det fortsatt med f\u00f6reningen f\u00f6r patienter med b\u00e5de Alzh\u00e9imer och MS. Alberto har st\u00e4llt upp gratis och tillhandah\u00e5ller material.<\/p>\n

Nu har f\u00f6reningarna g\u00e5tt samman f\u00f6r att gemensamt ans\u00f6ka hos kommunfullm\u00e4ktige om bidrag f\u00f6r att n\u00e5 en formell \u00f6verenskommelse med schackskolan.<\/p>\n

– Vi har bes\u00f6kare h\u00e4r som innan de b\u00f6rjade spela schack hade gl\u00f6mt bort att g\u00f6ra kaffe. P\u00e5 grund av kombinationen sjukdom och \u00e5lder minns de inte om mj\u00f6lken eller kaffet skulle h\u00e4llas upp f\u00f6rst eller om mikrov\u00e5gsugnen skulle starta f\u00f6rst.
