Certifieringen \u00e4r ett resultat av ett starkt, gemensamt engagemang \u00f6ver nationsgr\u00e4nserna f\u00f6r ett h\u00e5llbart fiske, skriver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mynewsdesk.com\/se\/marine-stewardship-council\/pressreleases\/aennu-en-seger-foer-havet-sardinfisket-blir-aater-msc-certifierat-tack-vare-ett-graensoeverskridande-samarbete-3396864\">MSC<\/a> i ett pressmeddelande.<\/p>\n<p>Certifieringen har varit indragen sedan 2014 p\u00e5 grund av oro \u00f6ver best\u00e5ndets status, men sedan dess har fisket genomf\u00f6rt en fler\u00e5rig f\u00f6rvaltningsplan som antogs 2021 av Spaniens och Portugals regeringar. Det \u00e4r resultatet av m\u00e5nga \u00e5rs h\u00e5rt arbete, dialog och delat ansvar mellan fiskare, forskare och myndigheter i b\u00e5da l\u00e4nderna\u201d s\u00e4ger Humberto Jorge (fr\u00e5n den icke-vinstdrivande organisationen ANOPCERCO) och Alberto Castro (fr\u00e5n OPPs Cant\u00e1brico, Spaniens f\u00f6rsta sammanslutning av producentorganisationer inom fiske).<\/p>\n<p>Kim Stobberup, Senior Fisheries Manager f\u00f6r \u00d6stersj\u00f6n och centraleuropa p\u00e5 MSC ser potentialen i detta \u00e5tagande och menar att det kan skapa ringar p\u00e5 vattnet:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVi ser p\u00e5 detta som ett starkt exempel som vi hoppas kommer att inspirera till liknande positiva f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar i f\u00f6rvaltningen av andra pelagiska fisken, s\u00e5som skarpsill och sill i \u00d6stersj\u00f6n, d\u00e4r f\u00f6rsiktighetsprinciper och fortsatta f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttringar kommer att vara avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r att skydda ekosystemets balans och \u00e5terf\u00e5 MSC-certifiering.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Det nyligen certifierade fisket med sn\u00f6rpvad omfattar 317 fartyg, 185 spanska och 132 portugisiska, som \u00e4r verksamma i ICES-zonerna VIIIc (Sydv\u00e4stra Biscayabukten) och IXa (Iberiska halv\u00f6ns v\u00e4stkust) i nord\u00f6stra Atlanten.<\/p>\n<p>Certifieringsprocessen involverade 15 producentorganisationer och tre portugisiska livsmedelsbranschorganisationer (ANICP, ALIF och APED), och firades in den 4 juli vid den ikoniska hamnen i Leix\u00f5es, Matosinhos, Portugal. N\u00e4tet h\u00e5lls upp som en gardin i vattnet med fl\u00f6ten upptill och tyngder nedtill. N\u00e4r ett fiskstim lokaliserats, leds n\u00e4tet runt stimmet i en cirkel. Undre repet dras \u00e5t som ett sn\u00f6re i en p\u00e5se, vilket f\u00e5ngar fisken inuti.
