Girona ska b\u00f6rja sp\u00e5ra turister i stadens historiska kvarter genom deras mobiltelefoner. Den katalanska staden, som \u00e4r ett popul\u00e4rt resm\u00e5l, har satt upp ett n\u00e4tverk av censorer som ska r\u00e4kna antalet bes\u00f6kare runt omr\u00e5det Barri Vell och \u00e4ven kartl\u00e4gga de mest popul\u00e4ra rutterna de anv\u00e4nder f\u00f6r att ta sig runt i staden.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

N\u00e4tverket best\u00e5r av nio enheter som plockar upp mobilsignaler och kommer att kunna identifiera om personen \u00e4r skriven i staden eller p\u00e5 bes\u00f6k. Enligt rapporter kommer de \u00e4ven kunna avg\u00f6ra ifall personen ska \u00f6vernatta i omr\u00e5det eller bara vara d\u00e4r under dagen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

De lokala myndigheterna s\u00e4ger att m\u00e5let med denna \u00e5tg\u00e4rd \u00e4r att f\u00e5 en b\u00e4ttre bild av hur turister r\u00f6r sig i staden och vilka tillst\u00e4llningar eller platser som lockar dem f\u00f6r att kunna g\u00f6ra staden mer v\u00e4nlig f\u00f6r sina bes\u00f6kare. Man vill ocks\u00e5 anv\u00e4nda informationen f\u00f6r att b\u00e4ttre kunna uppr\u00e4tth\u00e5lla en balans mellan lokalbefolkningen och turisterna.
