Under sista kvartalet 2028 inleds utbyggnaden av M\u00e1laga flygplats. Ett projekt som kommer att ta \u00e5tta \u00e5r. Med en investering p\u00e5 1,5 miljarder euro ut\u00f6kas den totala ytan fr\u00e5n 80 000 kvadratmeter till cirka 140 000 kvadratmeter.<\/strong><\/p>\n

– I nul\u00e4get arbetar vi utifr\u00e5n planen att arbetet med att bygga ut flygplatsen p\u00e5b\u00f6rjas under sista kvartalet 2028, s\u00e4ger Pedro Bendala, flygplatschefen f\u00f6r Costa del Sol-M\u00e1laga Airport, i en intervju i s\u00f6ndagens nummer av Diario Sur.<\/a><\/p>\n

Det g\u00f6r att maxkapaciteten ska \u00f6ka fr\u00e5n 30 miljoner resen\u00e4rer om \u00e5ret till 36 miljoner. Det inneb\u00e4r ocks\u00e5 modernare snabbare s\u00e4kerhetskontroller och passkontroller samt att incheckning, bagageutl\u00e4mning, ombordstigning och flygplansparkering ut\u00f6kas.<\/p>\n

Tre m\u00e5l<\/h2>\n

Projektet med att bygga ut M\u00e1lagas flygplats har tre m\u00e5l. F\u00f6r det f\u00f6rsta ska flygplatsens kapacitet ut\u00f6kas. Det andra \u00e4r f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrad h\u00e5llbarhet.<\/p>\n

– Vi kommer att anv\u00e4nda ny teknik som kommer att minska b\u00e5de koldioxidavtrycket som vattenf\u00f6rbrukning. Utbyggnaden f\u00f6ljer h\u00f6gsta m\u00f6jliga standard n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller h\u00e5llbarhet och effektivitet.<\/p>\n

Det tredje sk\u00e4let till utbyggnaden \u00e4r att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra tillg\u00e4ngligheten.<\/p>\n

F\u00f6rsta anbudstiden lades ut 29 juli. Det g\u00e4ller f\u00f6r arkitektfirmor som ska l\u00e4mna in f\u00f6rslag senast 18 september. Under f\u00f6rsta kvartalet 2026 ska det best\u00e4mmas vilken som tilldelas kontraktet.<\/p>\n

Icke Schengenl\u00e4nder<\/h2>\n

Till ytan f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas flygplatsen v\u00e4xa n\u00e4stan dubbelt. S\u00e4kerhetskontroller och passkontrollen f\u00f6r avg\u00e5ngar till icke Schengenl\u00e4nder byggs ut. Anledningen \u00e4r att utrikestrafiken f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas v\u00e4xa vilket g\u00f6r att M\u00e1laga f\u00e5r direktflyg till 200 l\u00e4nder varav de flesta inte \u00e4r Schengen-l\u00e4nder.<\/p>\n

\u00c4ven terminalen med flyg till Schengenl\u00e4nder ska byggas ut med 126 procent.<\/p>\n

Utbyggnaden sker i fyra eller fem faser. En ny pir ska byggas samtidigt som de gamla pirerna B och C ska rivas. Terminal 2 som invigdes till Spanien\u00e5ret 1992 med Expo v\u00e4rldsutst\u00e4llningen i Sevilla ska genomg\u00e5 en st\u00f6rre ombyggnad.<\/p>\n

48 gater<\/h2>\n

F\u00f6r n\u00e4rvarande har M\u00e1laga flygplats 26 gater. N\u00e4r utbyggnaden \u00e4r klara \u00e4r det 48 gater.<\/p>\n

– Om vi \u200b\u200bmed de nuvarande 26 gaterna hanterade n\u00e4ra 2,9 miljoner passagerare i juli skulle vi med 48 gater kunna hantera fem eller sex miljoner passagerare under en m\u00e5nad efter utbyggnaden, s\u00e4ger Pedro Bendala till tidningen.<\/p>\n

M\u00e1laga har i nul\u00e4get direktflyg till 139 olika st\u00e4der. M\u00e5let \u00e4r att ha direktflyg till 200 st\u00e4der i fem kontinenter.<\/p>\n
